The required components below must be submitted in every portfolio, while each of the four fields can be satisfied by one of the three options below, at the approval of the faculty examiner. As long as all required components are submitted, a component can be repeated between the fields.

Course Portfolio requirements:
This is a 10,000 word teaching portfolio on a planned college course on their chosen
field. This portfolio should include the
following:
I. Pedagogical philosophy
II. Course Materials
I. Syllabus (NOTE: boiler plate institution-required language, such as ADA and Withdrawal Policies,
does not count towards word count)
2. Historiographical summary (What books are you going to use in class and why)
3. Sample lesson plans or lecture outlines
4. Primary source anthology (What specific primary sources will you use and how will you employ them in class?)
5. Sample assessments (quizzes, tests, project samples, etc.)
