I am a PhD student in U.S. History with a focus on the local intersections of race, white supremacy, and violence. In May 2020, I completed my master's thesis on racial violence in Denton County during the rise of the Ku Klux Klan and am currently working on an online museum to share the underlying material from my thesis with the broader Denton County community. I have a passion for local, public-facing history and have contributed to several projects in Denton County on race and historical preservation. I currently serve as a Graduate Teaching Fellow.
