I am a fourth year Ph.D. candidate (ABD), and Teaching Fellow/Assistant with the Department of History. I specialize in post-Civil War United States Economic History. At the center of my research is understanding the role banking institutions played in the development of small towns as well as minority communities. I earned my B.A. in history as well as political science (2014 Magna Cum Laude) along with my M.A. in US History (2016) at the University of North Texas.
