I am the Administrative Coordinator for the History Department. I hold a PhD in Literature (specializing in 19th century vampire literature!) from the University of York in England, where I lived for ten years, spending the other two-thirds of my life on a US military base in Germany. This gave me the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, which brought me into contact with a wide variety of history and cultures. I have published five novels and several articles, and spend my spare time with my cat, Tibby, writing about Victorians, villains, and vampires.
