Specialty Areas: Modern European History, European Congress System, Victorian British Army, Modern Military History.

I am a first year Ph.D. student and teaching assistant. After a six-year stint in the United States Army, I earned my B.A. in History and Archaeology from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro (2016) and my M.A. in European History from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington (2018). For the last two years, I have worked for the United States Army as the Command Historian for the Army Materiel Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

My research interests include 19th Century European diplomatic, political, and military history. I am also interested in the Victorian-era British Army, especially the intersections of the Army and British society.

My hobbies include cooking, hiking, and watching professional football (Go Colts!).
