I am a Master's student focusing on the construction of narratives in tandem with American relationships with Japan during the 20th century. In particular, I focus on primary narratives written by those who participated in the Occupation of Japan post-WWII. In addition to my coursework, I have performed TA and teaching duties for the Japanese department at UNT and currently work in the History Help Center.
