Preferred Pronouns: He/Him

Specialty Areas: My current areas of interest include Colonial / Revolutionary and Nineteenth Century America with concentrations in exploration, innovations and industrialization, and politics.

I am a second semester graduate student in UNT's Department of History. I acquired my Associate of Arts degree from Tarrant County College (TCC) in 2017. In December of 2019, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Texas, with Magna Cum Laude honors. I have done a wide array of study and work in both early-modern European and early-modern American history over the course of both my undergraduate degrees. Now, in the early stages of my master's degree, I have found a particular interest in Nineteenth Century American studies, and have begun to pursue concentrations in exploration, industrialization, and politics. I believe that the study of history is crucial to understanding the world around us today.

Additional Information:

As mentioned above, I achieved my bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.75, earning the honors of Magna Cum Laude. This includes the recognitions on the Dean's list in fall of 2018, and the President's list in spring of 2019. I have also been a member of the National History Honors Society Phi Alpha Theta since my induction in April of 2019.
