Alumni Outreach

Alumni are a crucial part of the Department of History's ongoing relationship with the teaching and business professions and with the community in general. If you are an alumni of the UNT Department of History, you may already be involved in The UNT Alumni Association. You may or may not be aware of the activities and opportunities for alumni to continue to be involved in the Department.

We extend an especially warm welcome to alumni to attend annual public lectures such as the Lecture Series on Mexican American History, the African American History Month Lecture, and the Women's History Month Lecture.

Alumni are also welcome to attend special Departmental events including the annual Teaching of History Conference, the Hurley Military History Seminar, and the Texas History Symposium.

If you are graduate from UNT with a major or minor in history, or if you just had a special enthusiasm for history, we'd like to hear from you!
